Tara Chantelle Gomez is an artist that embodies lineage, depth, grace and beauty in all of her expressions.
Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, raised in Lisbon, Portugal, she has dedicated her life to dance ever since moving to India in 2008 to undergo intensive training as an apprentice in Odissi, Classical Indian Dance and Yoga under the ancient Pan Asian system, Guru Shishya Parampara.
With a drive and passion for Ritual Arts, Ancient Cultures and Sacred Dance, lead her on a global independent study and research.
Tara Chantelle Gomes lived between India, San Francisco and Lisbon for 13 years until settling in Lisbon in 2021.
In two decades, she has proven to be a leader in building community, culture and ritual performances.
Dance, Yoga, Ritual Arts, Pan Asian aesthetics, creative movement and holistic living are the foundation of her vision for art, community and creativity.
