1- Embodied, Not Just Studied
India's sacred arts are not meant for the mind alone. Over six evenings you will feel the mythology in your body, where each subtle movement gains meaning and your creative expression is fueled by enlightened energy.
2 - A Living Lineage
Tara spent 13 years living, researching and performing in India. What she carries is not a curriculum — it is a transmission. Grounded, respectful, and rooted in authentic tradition.
3- Your Whole Self, Welcome
No dance experience required. No perfect body required. Only curiosity, openness, and the willingness to let your body be the altar it already is.
The Programme
Six evenings. One unfolding.
Each session builds on the last. By the sixth evening, you will have moved through layers that a single class could never reach.
Day One: Saturday 24 May
The Sacred Body
An introduction to Odissi, Ritual Dance , Narthaki Style Dance and the philosophy of sacred embodiment. We open the container and settle into the lineage. The first layer of Lāsya.
Day Two: Monday 26 May
Feminine Myth Embodied
Entering the mythology of the Divine Feminine. Goddess archetypes, sacred iconography, and how story lives in the body through gesture - mudras - gaze and emotional expression.
Day Three : Tuesday 27 May
The Devotional Current
Devotional movement and ritual embodiment practices. We deepen into b r e a t h, presence, and the inner landscape of the sacred feminine.
Day Four: Wednesday 27 May
Lāsya — Grace Embodied
Classical Indian Dance aesthetics and the Narthaki Style Dance signature phrases. The body learns to move as prayer — with precision strength and softness together.
Day Five: Thursday 28 May
Goddess Mantra Choreography
Learning a short Odissi-rooted choreography to a Goddess Mantra. Movement and sound woven into a single offering. Your body becomes the prayer and fuel for creative expression in the Narthaki Style Indian Fusion BellyDance.
Day Six: Friday 29 May
The Integration
We distil everything. A sacred closing ceremony, group choreography, and the full experience of Attar — the essence, concentrated. Certificate presented.

Tara has walked the path of Sacred Arts for over two decades. She lived and researched in India for 13 years — immersed in the living traditions of Indology, classical dance, and the sacred feminine.
She returns to share what India gave her: not as performance, not as appropriation, but as a living lineage passed woman to woman, body to body.
Laasya Attar is the distillation of everything she has learned — an invitation for you to taste it.
